OGG Audio Instructions Link Info

One can now play *.OGG audio files directly from a local hard drive! After installing this update:

  1. a New Folder in the Installation Path will appear …\Music
  2. New 'Music Player' control icons will appear on the top right of the screen

Save your OGG files into this 'Music' directory in order to play them in-game. If you need to convert your MP3's and other formats to OGG go to http://winlame.sourceforge.net/ to get a free tool to convert your own audio files into the required .ogg format Note: You can save the OGG files at any quality level as OGG file format but we recommend 128 Kbps, 44 Hz, Stereo

Organizing Music in Folders and Playlists

If you create subfolders within this “Music” folder, than this (or any other) subfolder acts like a playlist and each .ogg file included in this subfolder will be played in-game in the order they are listed in the folder. You can also save shortcuts in the “Music” folder targeting to any folder on your hard disk that contains .ogg files. These shortcut will also be recognized and act as a playlist.

Copyright Laws

How one obtains music to play in-game is one's own business, especially if enjoying the music privately while using the application. Abiding by Copyright rules and laws is important if derivative content featuring 3rd party music is to be shared publically on Gamerotica , and not for profit uses, so we suggest if you do record and share that you know the rules regarding the original music content and its distribution and use, as well as our own TOS in regards to distributing copyrighted or illegally pirated content. Free music and Royalty free music is plentiful. The following is a link we found that discusses a lot of different ways to obtain audio content.
